Client platform · Maria Cruz Studio

One place to sell the work. One system to run it.

What started as a website for one book became a direct commerce platform for Maria's books, art, and digital products, with the tools behind it built for her to manage herself.

The public site brings Maria's books, artwork, digital products, and future offers under one brand instead of treating each release as a separate project.

The starting point

The request was smaller than the opportunity.

Maria originally wanted a home for one book after a previous website never became what she wanted and left routine changes dependent on someone else.

The useful question was not how to rebuild that page. It was what Maria needed to sell now, what she might sell next, and what she needed to control without asking for help every time something changed.

That changed the scope from a one-title website into a platform that could support the business around her work.

+400%

Sales in the first month compared with the previous site

More margin

Direct sales give Maria more control over how books are printed, fulfilled, and sold

Runs it herself

Maria can update products, prices, and promotions, and manage orders without waiting for a developer

What changed

The storefront and the operating side became one product.

Customer side

Books, original art, and digital products share one storefront with direct checkout and a consistent buying path.

Operating side

Maria can manage products, prices, availability, promotions, orders, and routine store changes without waiting for a developer.

Business data

Orders, customer records, subscriber relationships, and sales information stay connected to the business rather than scattered across separate tools.

Control after launch

The business did not become dependent on the build.

Maria can make the routine changes her business needs while the domain, payment relationship, products, customer records, and business data remain tied to the business.

That was part of the product decision, not a handoff detail added at the end. The platform had to work for customers and still be practical for the person operating it.

“I was embarrassed by my online presence. Then No Loud Launch built me a real store of my own. I run it myself, and for the first time my art sells right next to my books. Sales were up 400% in the first month.”

Start with what the business needs to do better.

You do not need to arrive with a product specification. Start with what customers need, what the business has to manage, and where the current setup is getting in the way.
